Shou Fukamachi was a normal high school student with a crush on his best friend's sister until one day he stumbles on a mysterious object that some shady, shady people in tasteful retro-cop outfits that turn into hideous monsters called Zoanoids due to some genetic bioweapon experiments by evil organization CHRONOS call "the unit" which turns Shou into the Guyver which has a wide array of weapons including boobie lasers called "megasmashers" (lol) and now Shou is being chased by said CHRONOS organization and he must fight to defeat them and find the origins and other info on the guyver.
